Hi Everybody!
We did a lot of work this week. We talked about how to make paragraphs - topic sentences, supporting sentences, and concluding sentences. Everyone is really doing a good job!
Here is the homework:
1. Continue to write for 20 minutes every day in your journal. Your journal is where you write about things that happen to you. You can also write about memories, things you like, anything! You can draw pictures in your journal, add stickers, whatever you want.
Use the Free Write method I showed you in class. Write for 5 minutes, take a break, 5 minutes, take a break, and so on.
2. On page 44 in your book, choose one of the topics (a, b, or c. You can also make your own topic)and write a paragraph. Please type it and email it to me. If you send it to me by 8 a.m. on Sunday, I will grade it and send it back to you.
- Please send the paragraph in a WORD DOCUMENT as an attachment. Please don't put it in the email.
- Please don't sep-
erate words with a hyphen. (There are specific rules. You can learn those later. For now, just don't separate words.)
- Please spell check your document.
- Please type your name at the top of the document.
I will see you in class on Monday.
Have a great weekend!
